Hi everyone! I’m Coach Ximena! I swam with the Buccaneers for 8 years, starting at age 10 through my senior year of high school. This season will be my 5th year coaching with the team. I love watching our swimmers grow—not just in their technique and confidence in the water, but also in teamwork, and sportsmanship. My goal as a coach is to create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where swimmers feel supported, challenged, and excited to come to practice. I’m always happy to communicate with parents and help each swimmer reach their full potential. I’m really looking forward to another great season with your kids! 
Hi my name is Sara Hilyard, I am 20 years old and this is my 3rd year to coach for Buccs! I have a deep love for this organization since I swam with them for 4 years old until my senior year of high school! I am currently finishing up my sophomore year of college at UHCL studying special education. I can’t wait to meet you if I haven’t already and can’t wait to coach your kiddos!
Doug is an occupational health nurse in the Baytown area. He moved here from Louisiana with his family in 2020 and loves this town. He loved swim team when he was in school and is excited about helping students reach their potential while falling in love with the sport.
Hey I’m Coach Kaylee! I coach the 8-10 year old swimmers. I have swam since I was 10, through my senior year of high school. This is my first year coaching for Buccaneers. I love helping swimmers strengthen their skills, not only in swimming, but teamwork as well. I want to create a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for our swimmers. My goal is for our swimmers to be excited to come and swim at practice. I’m ready to have a great season, getting to know each swimmer, and helping them reach their full potential.
My name is coach Cooper, I’ve been swimming for 11 years and was a junior coach for two years before my first time as coach this year. I enjoy writing, listening to new music, and going to the gym. I am graduating this year and plan to attend Texas State University in San Marcos.
